Wood floors

We are finishing up on the wood floors and are really pleased with how they look after a good sanding. Bio-Shield offers some great green products for the home…the showroom floor uses their hard oil finish with a hard wax finish on top. It is old fashioned approach with updated ingrediants for what Bio-shield says is a commercial grade durable finish. It is lovely!

    I used some of their glaze & paint…. expensive. But I like oil & waxmore than poly.. is it in the ballpark of other finishes or a lot more $$?

    It is not too much more. Some of there products seem like it costs more but you need less for coverage.

    I’ve had terrible experience with the wax for our floor. It won’t dry and I have had to strip it all off and find a different product as neither myself or Bio-shield can seem to figure out why it is not working. We followed all application methods, directions and coverage recommendations.
